Who we are

This notice explains how Qoreon Labs Ltd (company number 16359714), registered in England and Wales at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ ("Qoreon Labs", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through qoreonlabs.com. We are the controller of that information.

If you have any questions, email support@qoreonlabs.com or write to us at the address above.

What we collect

When you contact us

Our project enquiry form, quote form and free site audit form ask for some or all of the following:

  • your name and email address
  • your phone number, company name and website, if you choose to give them
  • details about your project, such as what you need, your budget, your timeline and how you heard about us

If you email or call us, we keep the messages and notes of the conversation.

When you browse the site

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and pages viewed. See our cookie policy for details.

Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services that deliver our fonts and embedded videos receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser requests files from them.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote or a site audit. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • To deliver a project if we work together. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you.
  • To improve the website using analytics. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.
  • To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as accounting records. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process information on our behalf:

  • Formspree, which receives and delivers the messages you send through our forms
  • Google, for Google Analytics and our email
  • GitHub, which hosts this website
  • YouTube, when you play the embedded PolyMonit demo video

Some of these providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact, so we have the context if you get in touch again. If we work together, we keep project and accounting records for as long as the law requires, usually six years after the end of the financial year they relate to.

Google Analytics data is kept in line with the retention setting in our Google Analytics account.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
  • ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, email support@qoreonlabs.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Keeping your information safe

We limit access to the people who need it, use providers with strong security practices and protect our accounts with two-factor authentication where available.
